Highly durable fuel cell catalysts

Cheng He, a graduate student in Prof. Vijay Ramani's group has published an account of new, highly durable catalysts for fuel cells; featured as the front cover in ChemSusChem. I am glad I could help. The team, including Prof. Plamen Atanassov and co-workers from the University of California-Irvine and the University of New Mexico, has comprehensively analyzed the chemical kinetics, reaction mechanism, behavior in a fuel cell and the degradation routes of this material and show that it enables fuel cells with a much longer useful lifetime.
