We are located at the Science and Engineering building on the campus of UTSA
The e5 lab is located at SEB 4.190 and consists of high air exchange laboratory space with 2 fumehoods, co-located student office spaces and chemical storage.

Pine instruments Rotating Ring-Disk Electrode setup and bipotentiostat with EIS and UV-vis spectro-electrochemistry setup
Gamry potentiostat with current booster coupled to Pine electrode rotator and a Gamry eQCM
Admiral instruments potentiostat (shared with Dr. Kaushik Mitra's lab in UTSA EPS)
ITECH source-sink power supply
Arbin 8-channel battery tester
Scribner fuel cell test stand with potentiostat, auto-gas switching and back pressure regulator
Acrylic vacuum glovebox
Scribner redox flow battery test stand
MBraun Argon glovebox
MTI single heating zone tube furnace (max. 1500 deg. C) and Thermolyne Muffle furnace
Isostatic hot press
MilliQ DI water source with 30L reservoir
The e5 lab has a desktop workstation with COMSOL, Matlab, ASPEN and other simulation packages installed. A partial list of available software packages can be found here. Additional software available through a virtual desktop environment.
